Sprueing up new camera parts

Photography have been having a problem with broken plastic handles on their Mamiya 7 II cameras. The lever operates the light shield curtain to close off light when changing lenses.  Here we have a solution to the plastic breaking, replace it with metal.

So we have handmade a copy of the handle and then made a rubber mould from that copy. After that, we can make many copies by injecting wax into the mould.
Here we have an example of a tree ready for investment casting with all the new handles ready to be transformed into aluminium.

And here are the completed parts.
